Planning approval for Swainby

Our scheme for nine Brierley Homes in the picturesque village of Swainby has been granted planning permission by the North York Moors National Park Authority.

This great news will see the brownfield site, previously home to Swainby and Potto Primary School, redeveloped after standing empty since 2017.

The scheme will be known as Whorlton Meadows and will bring much-needed new housing to the area.

It will include a mix of two, three and four-bedroom homes, all of which will come with garages and generously sized gardens and will be built in natural stone with pantile roofs.

Additionally, the homes will have air source heat pumps, an important pillar in the recently announced government’s ten-point plan for a green industrial revolution making greener, warmer and more energy efficient homes.

Construction should begin in summer 2021 with homes available to reserve off plan.
